Preparation Through Adversity
It’s hard to understand how the Lord could possibly be with someone who’s going through such a dark time in their life. Yet, I believe God prepares a man through adversity. He is using the setback in my life for a great spiritual significance. I sense it. It is this sense of calling that has helped me maintain certainty and clarity as I process all that I’ve had to endure because of my actions.
The mistake I made defines a period of time in my life, but not the core of my character. I still love and value family over everything else. I work with tenacity and strive for excellence in all that I do. My faith is foundational to my purpose and stronger than ever. I choose to believe that God isn’t a passive spectator in my life. He’s actively working in molding me into what he wanted me to be all along. It’s because of these things that I look ahead to the future with great hope and anticipation.
